about

When I was a kid in the late 70's, I remember going to see "Star Wars" and "2001, A Space Odyssey" the same year at the cinema. Soon after that, I recall watching Carl Sagan's Cosmos on TV with my family, and by this time, I was already reading with passion brilliant novels by the likes of Frank Herbert, Isaac Asimov and Arthur C. Clarke, which defined my dreams and imagination forever.

So, several months ago, I took an opportunity to pay my tribute, not only to the classic science-fiction I loved so much, but also to the classic instrumental electronic music that drove me to be a musician in the first place, the likes of Vangelis, Tangerine Dream, Art of Noise...

This album is a happy pandemonium of old samples, 70's & 80's synths, chinese & exotic percussions... It can be seen as a soundtrack to an imaginary novel, a big movie, a journey into the solar system, a chase between the moons of Jupiter, a murder mystery on Mars. I hope you will enjoy it, as a future that could have been, maybe a less complicated future, when science-fiction didn't have to be dark and gritty. A golden age for space, science... and electronic music !
